Before I get all carried away with the coming week-end, I should tell you about last week-end.
On Friday, we hosted Woodhaven Baptist Church. What a wonderful group of folks.
They took their trip to Burton's Landing and then had a picnic. They invited our crew to join them for lunch.
Saturday, the Wright family took a camping trip
to celebrate Greg's upcoming wedding.
The Wright family has been coming to Borchers
for years, camping along the AuSable for a short trip or going all the way to Oscoda.
It seems that Greg's bride has found "Mr. Wright". We wish them well!
The Ann Arbor Ski Club took a trip on Saturday. There were several great pirate costumes but this canoe stood out among the crowd.
At eleven o'clock, Mark & I turned the place over to the staff and Matt Gingerich. Matt worked for us many years ago and filled in so that we could attend our niece, Emily's, wedding. We are so appreciative. It was fun to have his blast from the past.
It was a lovely wedding with a surprise guest.
Sparty came to the reception! Wearing his tux!
We are so happy for Emily and Jerry and we danced the night away!
Our Saturday went from a groom and Spartan's (three of our staffers attend MSU) to Viking's & Ann Arbor to a bride & groom & Spartan! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. VanDorpe!
